The third panel represents an homage to the Mexican entheogenic herb salvia divinorum, which I worked with intensely in the years 2004-08, and which produced many sketches, paintings and digital works as part of the :: salviaspace :: project. This work evokes an intense salvia vision in which I experienced an entering into what I understood as the Heart of the Sky. The title recalls my strong feeling about visionary experiences that, no matter how cosmic or divorced from reality they may seem, they have to be integrated into one's life: a vision which remains abstract or held in some separate divine realm, rather than being brought into the world, is a vision wasted.
