The second version of the Swift People, painted on the other side of the dividing wall from Warren & Surita's house to create a unifying vision. I quickly realised that on the first version, all the figures looked rather male, so for Emily's House I decided that this should be a Woman's Dance and rendered all the figures as female. This mural is not an exact copy of the previous version but contains considerable variation, whilst retaining an intimate connection with the rock art images that inspired the original design. I also decided to change the outline style to a white line which made for a more vibrant and contrasting image. We see again swift dancers transforming into birds.
Emily looking very pleased with her new mural!
