A study piece to explore more deeply the stylistic forms first uncovered with Luceat Lucifer Libertum in which undulating underlayers are surmounted by interweaving stick figures to create a shimmering image of deep texture and composite colours. The image was initiated by some David Bowie lyrics - I searched for form and land, for years and years I searched - but quickly became a meditation upon liquid identities in visionary space and in the mythical underworld that is the ground space of all vision. The figures in the background are derived from the fantastical images of the Minoan seal-maker called the Zakro Master.
