A small gallery of drawings & illustrations from two of my independent research publications, my 2015 book On Vision and Being Human, and They Shimmer Within, published in 2018. In each cae, I sought to produce a body of drawings to decorate each chapter of the book, and which aimed as much for experimentation towards new aesthetic dynamics as it did to illustrate the contents of the books. I experimented with several layering and transparency techniques throughout the 'On Vision...' series, while the work for 'They Shimmer Within' looked for new pathways to depict visionary experiences in a vivid monochrome style.
