An illustration for my 2017 book They Shimmer Within. This series of drawings evoked various visionary experiences - incidental and life-changing - that I have had during my life. Here is a shimmering sensation of presences I once felt, and began to see, during a very intense psychedelic experience in my late teens. The imagery in this illustration stayed with me, and influenced several susequent artworks, including Morningstar in 2021.
