As a follow-up to the Strandlopers mural painted in 2016, the community asked me to create a design depicting the Khoekhoen people buildiung rather than using the tidal fish traps which are found on the southern coast of the Western Cape province for some miles around the Stilbaai region. There was a specific reason for the community wanting to create a mural showing not just the daily life around the fish traps but also their construction: this is detailed in the narrative for the Building The Fish Traps mural. This mural was realised on Judene's House in March 2018.
