This gallery shows the results of an ongoing project to produce canvas-based work using sand and acrylic-based media to give the effect of a rock-like surface. Inspired by the colours used by many petroglyphic artists, as well as the forms and colours of Minoan and Mycenean pottery, these pieces have a rough and unhewn finish which aims for a natural texture. |
