The besagement experience can last a very long time, especially if one sits very still in darkness and does not allow oneself to be distracted. As the visual and hallucinogenic aspects subside, salvia engenders a deep meditative stillness which defies meaningful description. By now one has ceased gallivanting around the inner cosmos and has returned to one's immediate environment. Seated and grounded in one's body, one simply is or exists and is aware of such being and existence without quite having a mind to do the awareness.
