in a dream about something else
barely an hour after besaging,
a mazatec woman appears
and begins singing:
"manon ga chinen, manon manon manon"
at that time
unknowing of her language,
but knowing her origin
i sought her in a book:
"i come to speak wisdom, come to speak"
and how that knowledge
came to me suddenly
from across a language divide,
i do not know...
she is the one ready for any situation,
to offer aid, to put in skin...
