The website biroz.net started out life in 2005 as a showcase of many of my interests, and also a way for me to learn the basics of web design. Since that time, there has been increasing emphasis on my art and design work, and has now progressed to being wholly focussed on that purpose. Other pages, such as the Tahitian language subsite (which was uploaded to a public site in 2003), that formerly occupied the lower half of the menu can now be accessed via the Back Door.

The Vihó Image

This symbol is essentially the biroz.net logo without being overtly stated as such. It is taken from an inverted excerpt of the Viho Magic art piece and represents a shamanic figure interacting with the creative and the divine. It feels appropriate for me to use this as a symbol as it reminds me that this interaction with the sacred and the mythical is a major inspiration for my work.
