A five track project named after a language spoken in southern Mexico, Zapoteco Del Istmo mixes the relaxing charm of ambient easy-listening with an 80s electro sound to create a textured, slow-moving work of aural delight, whose atmosphere suggests something closer to a film soundtrack than sitting down at home. Each track uses the exotic sound of a Zapotec word as its starting point and invites you to close your eyes as it accompanies you on a fantastic mini-journey through your own visual imagination.
