These images formed part of a project which continued from 2000 to 2004 and aimed to express something of the mythology of the sky as understood by all world cultures. The final pieces are large format pieces which were eventually printed onto canvas, although the originals were vector work. Throughout these images a wide range of influences can be seen, from the Aztec severed head to the Greek Argo Navis, a boat on the ocean of the sky.
