Another image from the shaman series. Here standing at the portal between the shamanic world and the material world, an antler-wearing shaman returns from a transdimensional voyage in triumph. The journey has been difficult, having been something of a battle to save the soul of a patient (visible in hir hand), but has now been accomplished. For me, in a roundabout way, this image expresses something of the optimistic and indomitable vitality that is life on this planet.
