Here we see the mandala of the shaman. Based on an ancient petroglyph carved no doubt by a skilled Siberian shaman, we see here expressed every aspect of the shaman's being. The antlers of powers, the drum and beater, the wings of other-wordly flight and the riding of the power animal. Notice also that the shaman is fragmented, remembering both the original initiation in which the shaman's body was torn apart and remade anew, as well as the idea that the true essence of the shamanic mandala is not to be found visible in the material world. Based on a 2001 original.
