i saw planes,
twisting and writhing in the air.
i saw guns lined up,
firing burning death.
images of war.
i had asked for peace,
but I was shown the dread
of its opposite...
(how did i come to be here
when it seemed so real
yet historically distant?)
again with an inbreath and hold,
the vision constructed deeper...
