from lying down
and sinking into the besage,
turned backwards
and then i disappeared...
the body was a table,
stretched back
in a paris cafe,
elegant legs surrounding it,
delightful tea upon its chest...
strange tables they were
in the 1930s
and worthy of remark...
and slowly i returned,
uncoiled and relaxed myself
into my body again...
when the eyes were filled
with the body's recent actions...
