in the many-attended stadium,
the spectators grew
in volume and brightness,
as i set my feet upon the grass:
each speck of light
now a holistic glow
standing in the centre,
a lonely tree
of no leaves
but vitally alive
and speaking:
'i am here, i am here,
you are here also...'
and the assembled masses
continued their celestial song...
it was as if the world outside
was being drawn in...
