and i remember
the blessing image I carried
into the space,
and i remember
hearing a song that was
given to me:
'know that the earth is ringed
with pearls of light,
know that it bathes in energy jets,
thirteen for the moon...'
'see that the hands
reach out to distant calendar time,
see that the Worldeyes watch over You
as you see them...'
i listened with care...
my eyes always start to slip,
for just a moment then onwards...
