-:- envaginate -:-

In one salvia discussion community I was once part of, Anna Baldwin originated the term 'envaginate' to describe a particular aspect of the salvia journey - the intimate sensation of being cocooned and hidden away in a maternal envelope which seems to aid vision work and which is somehow elastic or non-linear in nature. I was struck by this word when I first read it, and for me it word typifies that glowing, protected feeling which lasts for the journey during and beyond, and after some thought, words of a poem came to my mind. This video is the first of hopefully a series of video poems on salvic themes...

This video is presented in a mid-range quality suitable for web streaming which may cause pixellation or blurring artefacts to be visible during playback. Viewers on a dial-up connection may experience some pauses or slow playback. High quality versions of the videos may soon be available as a DVD in the Shop or offered free with the forthcoming Book.
