Based on the piece And I Saw Two Birds Of Paradise Kissing In Flight in silver, this image was one of a series of three developed towards seeking a new artistic style. However, this image does siginificantly differ from the original both in intent and content. Whereas the former was somewhat romantic in intention, this piece expresses much more the joy of being alive. It features the enduring image which I have come to call the Desana image, and depicts an observer's joy at seeing a Bird Of Paradise flying across a sky filled with the magical influence of the Sun's rays.
