"AND I SAW TWO BIRDS OF PARADISE KISSING IN FLIGHT"

This image was created as a gift to my partner Chris, and uses the Desana symbol which appears from time to time in my work. The intent here is romantic: a fruitful sun watches as two birds of paradise fly above the treetops. Their wings, tail feathers and legs are entwined and so intent are they upon each other that they barely have eyes to see where they are going. The bright explosive colour schemes seen in this work expresses the colourful life Chris and I share, illuminated by a love as bright as the Sun, and as expansive as the sky. |
