Walking on Southport beach one afternoon, I found three razorshells. Now Southport beach is very windblown on account of the perfect flatness of the surrounding landscape, and as such the sand is whipped into little ripples as if it was water. Seeing these ripples, I placed the three shells in the sand and was struck how it looked more like a mini-Stonehenge type structure. The sharpness of the shadows contrasts nicely with the soft contours of the sand.
