This piece was inspired by an unusual petroglyph depicting an ibex and a river flowing from it. I felt that this glyph might have been concerned with the bringing of rain to the desert and have turned it into a dance ritual of rain magic. In the centre of the ibex we see rainmakers with sieves splashing water on the ground and the ibex itself becomes a kind of ritual enclosure. We also see the river bedecked with plants suggesting the fertility of water.
