This is taken from the same cycle of Andean myth that inspired Inca Sky. During the flood which forms the central theme to that piece, the Fox ran to the highest mountain to escape the waters. Here we see the end of the tale, where Fox attempts to jump over the mountain. In the original story, Fox fails and gets his tail wet, a detail that refers to a celestial event. Here, however, I have depicted the Fox as successul in his jump. The form of the mountain is inspired by both Peruvian and Mayan elements.
